About the Role
4-Way Concrete Ltd. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Helper to join our team. This is a full-time position with flexible working hours. Successful candidates will be contacted for an interview and may begin the employment process immediately. This position has been approved by LMIA.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Clear obstacles and hazards from construction sites
- Assist skilled tradespeople and craft workers as directed
- Load and unload construction materials
- Mix and spread materials such as asphalt and concrete
- Align pipes and sort or clean salvaged materials
- Dig trenches for drainage and electrical piping
- Clean up contaminants and material spills
- Participate in on-site demolition activities
- Follow all instructions from supervisors
- Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
Requirements
- No prior experience required — entry-level applicants welcome
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to work overtime or overnight shifts when necessary
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, or warm environments)
- Comfortable handling heavy materials
- Valid criminal record check required
